Re: Cute boylines?
Yea, it's hard to find pretty boy lines that have many blues, I've noticed. Really weird, since worldwide blue is THE color for boys. I think I'll have to look more into the adult schemes. I am afraid I'll have to use "Spa" from Deb Strain for moda. Sometimes they still are available via Ebay. I didn't find them here, sadly

Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn’t come. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you. And most of the time, those were the uninvited ones.

Re: Cute boylines?
I scanned the boy fabrics and there are tons of cute fabrics, just not boats that I saw...
However, one of the cutest quilts I've seen is a Boat quilt that Jenny did.
And you can do it with any boy fabrics or what you want.
Sail Boat Quilt Tutorial Using the 10" Half Hexagon! - YouTube
You might try that... Its a great Boat quilt for a boy.

I love it because you can go super baby or older depending on that main print and just pulling the colors out. Sometimes you find that fabric you have to have and then it's now what? lol

I usually search fabrics.com to get some ideas. If you type "boys prints" into the search button, it will bring up quite a few.

Lori, I also like the ease of using Etsy. Steffie found 2 layer cakes there that I couldn't find anywhere else. I ordered, they shipped immediately and should be here today.

Yes, Sharyn, I checked out fabrics.com, too. Thanks for your effort
But I wasn't very satisfied with what they came up with. :S I am not sure yet, what I want, I actually just made this post to get inspired by others. It's hard to please me for this one, haha! I want to create something special, this friend is very dear to me and she was there for me back then big time!
If she would get a girl it would be A LOT easier for me, I am more the girly girl hihihi... but well, I think like "Barney Stinson" in this case: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

Re: Cute boylines?
I LOVE this fabric line! I HAD to get some when I saw it. It is even cuter in person than it is in pictures.
I like the fact that it would work for a boy for a few years, not be too "babyish" that he'll outgrow fast.
My grandson absolutely loves it! Someday I'll get to making his quilt form it. So much to do and so little time.
