Yes, please do..I am now intrigued. I know that tea staining doesn't always come out even but it usually doesn't matter much, because its usually used for a craft of sorts. On clothes, I would want it an even color...is there a trick to keeping it even?

Have you seen my white T-shirts? There is at least one blip of iced coffee on each of them that I cannot get out no matter what I put on them or how soon I get to it!

If it does start to fade, it is simple enough to re-fresh the "dye".

I have to agree , whenever tea and coffee get spilled on anything it never comes out, it may fade but them I'll just refresh it in a new pot. its a prairie skirt so if its not totally even it won't show as its pretty fully gathered. On top of that I won't be wearing it every day . I will post a pic when it is done rinsed and dry ready to wear.

Well, I spilled coffee on my (formerly) WHITE sweater AND t-shirt as soon as I got to my office today... But it came right out with a little soap & water from the ladies' room. Maybe I shoulda' just gone back home & thrown the whole pot at myself...

You can also set the dye with white vinegar. It may not keep it permanent, but it will help the coffee hold longer.

You can also use salt and cold water to set the color. When we were in college we used to buy Mexican Baja pullovers that you needed to set the color before washing or you would be sorry. I used to fill the washer with cold water, salt and vinegar. Smelled awful! BUT it worked..
