    Default RK Quilt App

I use the Robert Kaufman quilt calculating app all the time. I don't know if I missed it before or there was an update, but I just noticed that the app now has calculations in metric or inches (at the bottom of the calc screen.

This is a free quilt app that you can get from the Google Play store. For those of you who needed the metric system, it's available. (lol, I only discovered this when I got metric measurements and thought, what the heck? I need inches!

I agree this is a great app, and the best part is it's FREE! This app will figure total yards needed if you plug in the size of the pieces. It will figure what size framing square to cut if plug in the center shape. It will tell you how many pieces you can cut from a piece of material if you plug in the measurement of remnant and the dimensions of your piece. How great is that for scrap quilting? Nope, they don't pay me. Lol. But it is a great app and you switch to metric with the touch of a button. Check it out, I think you will like it.

I have this app and have used it on my last two quilts and I tell ya, it's bang on! No waste of fabric here and no room for mistakes either. So measure twice, cut once.

I can't figure mine out.... I almost deleted it the other day. I'll have to go back in and look at it again since y'all are giving it great reviews.
