You are so lucky to have such wonderful birds to view! I love the birds in my backyard. They are very entertaining to watch. Yours would keep me entertained for hours!
When l was a kid my dad would put raw meat on the balcony ballistrade and the kookaburras would come down and eat the meat they got so used to us we could hand feed them.
Lisa, you are so fortunate to have such colorful "exotics" in your backyard! I think the most exotic I get here are my pretty little gold finches and variety of blue birds. Thanks for sharing such pretty birdies with us. I will have to share with my sis. She is the bird lady -
It must be great to have beautiful birds like this to watch.
OH wow...what gorgeous birds....lucky you!
How nice to have such gorgeous creatures in your yard! We have nothing that compares to that in our yard although we have some colorful birds...finches, woodpeckers, cardinals and bluebirds. I love the size of your birds....no mistaking what you are looking at!
Oh what a beautiful sight to see! Are these common birds to see in Australia? You are so lucky!
How nice-Australia has always been on my bucket list of places to visit-well there and MSQS :)
How beautiful! What a treat to have such beautiful (and BIG) birds come into your yard. Do you feed them?
Beautiful! A lot nicer to look at than the crows that hand out here
Oh they are beautiful...what a wonderful place you live where you can see them all the time! My daughter use to have a Cockatoo and they are so smart!
Watch out - those lorakeets can be pretty messy. Had a friend who had two caged (WHY????) and they would let go on her walls . . .
Love the kookaburras - even though they can be so noisy in the morning.
l saw about 15 cockies on the weekend sitting on someones fence just hanging around together
It wouldn't do for me to live there. I'd be trying to turn all the birds into pets.

I love the wildlife of Australia. Except for the snakes!
What a treat it is to have something so beautiful in your own back yard. I love our birds as well, but have nothing quite that colorful.
Ohhh, we had a Gavin Cockatoo, named YuYu. He was sooo sweet and could talk your ears off. Couldn't bring him with us but he joined our friend's avery full of parrots in Orange County. He's a happy Daddy now. :)
Love your shots. :D
