Once my text is added and centered the way I like I take that file into Sew What Pro (another embroidery program) and line everything up in the hoop. I add any frames I want to put on there. Then I convert it to my filetype. I wish I could do everything in SEU but it doesn't have a converter to my filetype so I have to use the second program.

Your Brother machine should be able to easily add frames and text just using your screen so you probably wouldn't have to do all this unless you wanted a specific font.
I just downloaded Sew What last night, and made a label in 5 minutes, sewed it out this morning, quick as a wink!
