Now I know it's probably too small to read, so I'll type the instructions as well:
1) Sew on your binding leaving a 12" opening. You will need a 10" tail of binding on each side
2) Butt the flat edge of the tool up where you stopped sewing. Bring the binding over the top of the tool (*along the longest edge!) and mark as indicated. Rotate 180 degrees and repeat with the binding on the other side. (*Do NOT flip over your tool! Printed side always faces up!)
3) Open binding, lay rights sides up and cut from the marks you made. Place A tip on one mark (*very tip) and B corner on the other as indicated in diagram 3. Make sure to cut the straight edge as well as the 45' angle
4) Sew ends together. Press seam open. This will work perfectly every time.
I typed it exactly as it shows on the tool aside from the little notes I added for clarity (*like these!)
Hope this helps ladies :) I haven't used it yet, I'm going to use it for a friendship braid table runner instead of using it for binding lol
