I am with Coleen, I really like mine but I do an extra step. I actually pin my binding on the quilt and miter the corners as I go so I can make sure there is not a join in my binding at the corners. I pin the binding at the end 12 inches apart then use the tool to mark and cut as noted above. The I sew the binding ends together before I sew the binding to the quilt, I have not had any trouble with it fitting and it seems easier to me to have it joined in advance. I do use a walking foot to attach it.
I know if I have enough binding for sure, too.
