Default Time to get started :)

About to start my "3 dudes" quilt from the MSQC YouTube video-can't wait! Using a jellyroll Adornit - not sure about the name of the fabric but trust me it's adorable. It's my first of three quilts as Christmas presents for my 3 girls. Once it's done I will try and post a pic-just haven't figured out how to do that yet from my iPad...

Good Luck! Looking forward to seeing the results or even the progress - if you get that all figured out!

Yes, it's time to get started - especially if you need to have three finished in time for Christmas! Good luck!!!!

Well it's about half way done. I have all the pieces cut and ready to be sewn BACK together. I did have a moment when I was cutting where I had to laugh at myself for sewing them all together-just to cut them into pieces. Seemed a little counter productive!
Should have most of 2 possibly 3 finished quilt tops that will go with me to the fabric store for border and backing materials at some point. Hoping to create 3 smaller sized blankets for my 3 nieces since this was just a practice run into quilting before doing the ones for my daughters.

Ok-so posting pics will be a no go :S BUT quilting this week has been an adventure! the 3 dudes quilt might have been me biting off more then I can chew right out of the gate. Made some mistakes which prevented me from making the quilt the size that I wanted -soooo, I was able to split it into 2 quilt tops that will be "matching" for my nieces. I will just add different borders/backs to each one so they will still match but will be able to tell them apart. Perfect since they are little and share a room.
After the 3-Dudes I did the tumbler quilt and it looks AWESOME! I used the "ohh lala" charm packs since my daughter loves everything French right now. Can't wait to add the borders and back too this to finish it off. Def an easy beginner quilt!
Next on the list is the jelly roll race-lol have already botched it. I didn't sew my ends together right so I have to UNdo everything-blah. But I'll give it another go to see if it works out a second time (I just won't do ALL of the strips this time till I know that I have it right!)

I have an iPad and you cannot post pics from it. I always have to post pics from my computer. I just download the pics from my iPad or iPhone to my computer and post them from there.
