Red face Can you smell it ?

    Hi
I have a pie bubling away in the oven. To day after work i went to the forrest ( about 2 min walk from where i live ) and picked some blueberry. Then i went to my own yard and picked some raspberry and rubarbs. I came home and mixed them all up and put it in the oven. It smells yummie!

Sending every one a pices with some custard ;.)

Have a nice evening ! Annika

Oh, yeah it smells like apples or maybe it's because I'm dehydrating some apple slices today. lol Wow, your so blessed to have blueberry (near by) & raspberry bushes and rubarb to make PIE, Yummy! My grandparents had goose berries and rubarb side by side in there yard. I can remember picking gooseberries, good times. Enjoy your Pie!

We have wild blueberries here too. Last weekend I went outside and just sat down in a bunch of them and had my lunch-Yum!

Sounds YUMMY!!! Eat some for me!

This reminds me of a little something that happened to me a few years ago. At that time we had grape vines which I always love getting the grapes and enjoying them. It was in the fall and I had some pumpkins sitting on a chair by our mailbox, decorated for Halloween. I decided I'd go get some of our grape vines and wind them around and underneath the pumpkins. WELLLL, while I was cutting the grape vines I spotted some really pretty red vines growing around some trees in the neighbor's field so I decided they'd look great mixed with the grape vines. Anyone here that has an idea what those vines were probably has an idea of what happened the next day. Those red vines on the trees were poison and by the next day both my arms and my neck and some of my face was covered with poison, still not sure if it was poison ivy or poison oak. In the following weeks I was at the doctors office twice getting shots to dry up the poison and completely lost my voice. I missed 3 weeks work...LESSON LEARNED!!!
