Re: Craftsy Caribbean Cruise! Who's Going???
Wow, I don't like the idea of a cruise, but sounds like it would be fun for those that do!

Then we got out of the boat to go snorkeling, I kept on puking. I would have to surface remove my mask and snorkel, let it rip, then swim away from it. It was a lousy day in a beautiful place! And I do love the ocean! Just my cross to bear, I guess! I did take a 1 day excursion from Florida to the Bahamas and managed to spend the whole trip leaning over the boat rail. And that was with 3 Dramamines in me. It should have knocked me out but I was too busy puking to sleep!
Terra firma for you, my dear! Stay on the pontoon boat! Could you sew on a pontoon boat?

Probably not. Too much splashing and spilling of drinks! :D
Re: Craftsy Caribbean Cruise! Who's Going???
I'd love to go! As soon as I win the lottery I'm buying my ticket :icon_giggle:
I love being out on the ocean! I was actually going to go to school and get my mates ticket when I left High School, but did nursing instead and now I'm a network engineer lol Still love the ocean though, probably because I live so close :)
And Auntpiggylpn and others who are prone to getting seasick, I have a piece of advice. Stay away from catamarans! lol We had one that was being used for our ferry service a few years ago, Max Mols I believe she was called, but nobody called her by her real name because she couldn't lose the nickname of the "Vomit Comet" lol Even the old seadogs were getting seasick because they go so bloody fast! :icon_heh:

Ohhh, now that would be a blast, pool side with handsome pool boys bringing me virgin mango margaritas with salt on the rims during the day at the Bellagio or The Wynn's! :D

Now, I LOVE the Wynn...but I don't think it would be cheaper for me than a cruise - too many fun slots, shows, restaurants, wine...pool boys with drinks! lol! Maybe Pam could put us all up??

If we all dressed as cats her BF wouldn't say a word, just open the door. ;)

We have cruised on The Mariner--a sister-ship to the Navigator. Huge, beautiful ship. Usually these 'quilt cruises' have special pricing for the non-quilting spouse. I didn't see it here, though. Bummer!
