God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

Oh yes! Basting spray is my best friend ever!! A tip too.....iron your quilt once you have the basting spray and batting all together. It really gives a smooth surface to quilt on and seems to hold together so much better.

Does anyone ever use basting spray for hand quilting? I would think it would make it more difficult to pull the needle thru?!?!?

I've used basting spray for hand quilting. It worked like a charm! I am totally sold on basting spray for both machine quilting and hand quilting. I'm machine quilting a twin sized quilt right now and it's been spray basted for a couple of months so far. It still has it hold!
