I am almost through quilting the first quarter of my king quilt. I had $%^$ doing it, but that was because I had rolled my quilt on the frame incorrectly, and it matters! I fixed that, and it has been working well since. I have about 15 inches left to quilt, but I got tired and called it a day yesterday.

In the meantime, I cut out all of the fabric for a Day and Night quilt using my new book. I almost have all of the day strips sewn together, and then will start on the night strips. (This might be a reason, too, for lack of progress on the king quilt.) It is so nice to use black, white, and red fabric instead of the fabric I used for the king quilt!

We have an errand to run today in Austin, so I doubt if I will do any sewing today. That's the way it goes. Life seems to have a way of interrupting fun!
