I have been on weight watchers for six months now and I'm down 50 pounds. I rarely eat starch in any form....especially bread. I do have the occasional tortilla wrap or pita pocket and they are always whole wheat. I don't know what's worse genettcally altered grains or totally processed flour??? So avoiding it is the best policy. But as for genetically altered....fruits and veggies rank pretty high there too. So trying to find organic is better. Fortunately my grocery has a huge area of organic and with summer here now, local produce is everywhere. But you are so right about the heart burn Sandy. I rarely if ever get it anymore since I cut way down on both my starches and dairy.......
