Looking good!Oh how I miss having a 12'x12' room. lol
And to have an Ikea on the Island would be great, but they won't come here due to the humidity. Things would worp in the warehouse before it gets to the store sadly.

What a wonderful improvement! Being disorganized messes with the quilting side of my brain....I do much better work when I know how to find everything. Your space is looking wonderful...it's an evolving process. Our needs for space and storage change as we progress through our years as quilters. I have also gone through phases....everything in full view where I can see it and grab it...everything divided by color....everything rolled onto boards and place behind closed doors...etc. Flexibility is the key. Hugs....

Lynne, Thinkin' DD needs a reality check, and awfully afraid her phone would accidentally fall in the toilet or get run over by the car. Not your place to care for her children when she is right there. But anyway Trish, your space looks great. Every time I see someone else's sewing studio, room, or space it makes me want to get in the spare room that houses all the GK's stuff, and turn it in to my room.

Looks good!
“Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.”
Trish---looking nice and neat! Don't you love those 12 x12 scrapbook boxes. They store quilt blocks in progress so nicely~ My only thought was why did you go Teflon on the ironing surface? I have always heard that 100% cotton is better for pressing. LOOKS great, but I agree on the elves to keep it that way. I recently cleaned my studio and I struggle to keep it up!
Gramma Babs----you are getting there. Remember slow and steady wins the race........just keep moving. I am seriously thinking of the board wrapping for fabric....so look how far ahead of me you are already!

It's lookin' great! I really like your ironing board. Clever use of space.

I bought the self stick Bo Nash iron board, size extra large, at the quilt show...it's a huge square of material --here is a quick link to it at Amazon...

I had seen someone post somewhere about using the top of a dresser for their ironing surface, after covering it with batting and the telfon...I really like the way it works! I didn't need the rounded corner of the ironing board board so....
Now, if only I can get some quilting done with some of the wonderful goodies I discovered the last few days!!!

Nice and tidy, great use of space, found fabric. What else could a girl ask for? Being organized is so much easier, isn't it?
