Marebear...I had thought of the invisible thread, but I am just not sold on the idea of the polyester thread cutting the cotton fabric.....this quilt was not cheap to make and I was hoping it might last quite a long while!! Clear would settle my dispute though.....I will consider it...again!
Barb....yes, I am concentrating on the enjoyment, too. This is such a huge undertaking for me, but I promised myself that there is no hurry and whenever it gets done is fine. I have told myself to finish just this part, then take a rest and do some smaller things, but this quilt keeps calling me. As long as it is fun and not work.......I will persist. Each part is so repetitious before I get all 30 blocks done, but then I get excited to see the next part done. It is keeping me going. It has been very exciting for me....so far!
