After all of this time, I have never cut myself with a rotary cutter until today, and it wasn't even when I was making a cut. I had my left hand on a ruler and was passing the cutter over my hand when I just barely came into contact with my thumb, and slice! The cutter was at a 45 degree angle as it passed over the thumb. Ouch! I can see where getting one of those gloves might be worth it. I have had the fear of cutting my wrist before.
