Wow, I hope there wasn't too much blood flowing and you are OK!
I sliced my bird finger once with mine. It bled so much. I put some antibiotic cream on it bandaged it and within a week was healed. I've been meaning to replace mine with the safer one but...one day I will. I hope you are ok. Please make sure it doesnt get infected.
Hate to hear this Joyce, I have only done it once and it was just a small cut that really was nothing. I guess all sports have their dangers and this is ours....lol
Ouch. I am always so afraid of cutting myself. Haven't yet, but figure at some point it is inevitable. Mine does not auto retract, but I only open the blades when I am ready to cut, then close them.
I am also always a little fearful when using my rotary cutters...I do remember "most" of the time to lock the blade...I may just get myself the auto retracting kind this week...
I hope your cut heals quickly Joyce...
Ouch! So sorry for your boo boo and hope it heals up quickly. If the slice is kept shut and bandaged well, it should help it heal faster.
Ouch! so sorry you cut yourself. I just shudder thinking about it!
Joyce....been there and done that...only I had to go to Er and get four stitches...and I was cutting....brand new blade...didn't bleed on my fabric though....made sure I brought my hand down the ruler....wasn't going to try to wash that too. I healed in about a week...painful though...sorry you got hurt!
Ouch! It's really painful when it happens. That's a scary thought about cutting one's wrist. I never thought about that. I, too, cut myself a while back. No fun. I'm really forgetful when it comes to closing it. Sometimes I set it down and don't retract it. I'm trying to break that habit. I agree about the glove, but hate the thought of using one. Make sure you keep that wound clean, antibiotic ointment, etc. Don't want you to get an infection.
Oh no! OUCH! I'm so afraid of this too.
