I probably will go this year. It is 2 1/2 hours from here, and we could do a day trip. It is a giant show, and a lot of walking, so I don't know.

Joyce, I know what you mean. I have'nt been in probably 4 years and would love to go but, need to remember all the walking and the last time we went they did not have seating at the end of the aisle's anymore. They have moved all the chairs to the next room.

Hi Carol & Joyce, I hope you can attend to quilt show. Carol maybe you could send an email to the show organizers and request chairs be set out at end of aisles again. I would think lots of people would appreciate having a place to rest as needed. A couple of months ago I was talking about the Houston quilt show (never been before) and my DH told me that he wanted to take me to the quilt show as my delayed birthday gift! My b-day is in August and quilt show in November.....so yay!!!!!
pcbatiks - You will love it. It is overwhelming.
They used to have tables and chairs in the back where they sold food, but they must have moved them. I was counting on them! I have a wheelchair that I used three years ago when I lost the use of my legs, so I could bring that to push around and to sit when I need too. That might be the best idea, because I really would like to go again. I just need to figure out what to do with my husband. Maybe we should get a room this time for him to spend the day in. It was a lot easier when I lived there and had a house.

pcbatiks you will have a wonderful time there, what a great present. The one thing I do is plan on getting there about an hour after they open, because all you do is stand in line for 30-45 minutes anyway then wait to get in the door. Maybe we can all meet somewhere.
