Default Relief for my neck and shoulder

I had shoulder surgery last year and my shoulder still gets stiff and sore when I quilt for over 30 minutes. Then in May I was rear ended by a guy going 50 mph. The jolt really snapped my neck and shoulder. I have had aches and pains ever since in those ares.

One night I saw an ad for Bengay Zero Degrees. I thought I might as well try it. I had the best night when I had my son help me put it on my neck and shoulder. I slept for about 7 hours, which is about how long the relief lasted until I applied the Bengay again. Believe me I knew when it wore off. I used it for about three nights and then I was pretty much pain free until today when I started sandwiching UFO's. I haven't used the Bengay this afternoon because I am going to a concert tonight and even though I don't smell it after the initial application, I worry others might.

    Hope this helps someone else.

I haven't tried that, but may have to. Do they make it in industrial size, cuz I would have to take a bath in it, lol. JK, glad you found something that gives you some relief.

So far, I haven't got the pains that Bengay Zero could help, but I have nerve pain pills that help a lot. Thanks for sharing. I will remember it.

I may give this a try. My back bothers me a lot when I spend more than an hour at my sewing machine. Worth a try for sure!

Joyce, my doctor gave me "nerve pain pills" for my shingles a couple weeks ago...ugh! I couldn't WAIT to get off them. I was so attle brained I would forget my DH name if I needed it!

Glad you found something that relieves your pain. I was rear ended and was in a neck brace for a long time. The emergency doc was not too concerned and told me to stay in the brace. WRONG advice. I went for a second opinion and that doctor sent me to an acupuncturist who gave treatments and instruction on careful excercise. He said staying the in the neck brace would cause my neck muscles to atrophy. I will always be grateful for the latter doctors. They saved me from a lot of pain and helped me to recover much faster. I pretty much have all my range of motion now.

I have arthritis in my hands, hips and back. I can't take prescription meds because of my kidney problems. I use Theragesic and its the best pain reliever I've ever used. When I was working and on my feet for over 8 hours a night I'd put it on my feet before I went to bed and it was great! My husband uses it on his knees, they have went out on him so many time that he has arthritis in them. It has a mint smell and after it dries it has no smell. Please try it everyone, I think you'll be happy you did. I buy it at Walmart or HyVee.
