Welcome Rachel! I guess you've figured out by now that you've joined a group of addicts and we're all enablers. BTW, "the box" will multiply like rabbits.

Welcome to the forum Rachel...I have a building to myself and now DH said he'll trade shops with me because the one he has is bigger than mine We're all here to help you with your addiction - we encourage everyone to keep on shopping.

Red face Re: Too much fabric? No such thing!

Welcome from Pennsylvania and yes I am an addict, too!!! After my order from M*QC last Saturday, I vowed to not buy any more fabric for a while...like next week when my husband and I go to Berlin, Ohio and all the quilt shops there...
    IT IS DEFINITELY AN ADDICTION
You are in great company with all the fabiholics on this forum!!! We love it!!!

Oh Karen, that is to funny. Every time I think my stash is getting smaller, it just magically appears to grow again. Upstairs, downstairs, all around the house. That is the world of a quiltaholic. Thankfully for this addiction you don't nee an intervention.

    I too am a Fabraholic......

Just started out with a small corner in the closet ( I have a walk in closet off the bedroom that is still set up with an extra sewing machine) and a tote that fit neatly under the sewing stand. Then one day..... something snapped.... I found all kinds of web sites with so many patterns and pictures.... I went to yard sales that had totes of material that just begged to come home with me. Every time I walked into a store that had a fabric section..... somewhere in the bolts of material was a magnet that just sucked me in..... SALES SALES SALES. I now have a room with shelves .... and yes still the totes.... that hold my treasures.
I feel my addiction is getting better..... as I now find I don't need to leave the house to purchase fabric....... I buy my pre-cuts from MSQC.....
See what is in store for you....... we welcome you ......... enjoy!

Enablers is the right word I think

Right now I am a college student and still living at home so I am kind of limited on space, but my boyfriend already knows that when I move out I will have my own room!

According to my other half I have enough fabric to open my own little store....not happening...I love every piece but I swear when I am not looking they have babies...know what I mean and my scrap bin is overflowing again...thought I had cut that one down to size! See...I am telling you...when you are sleeping they are having babies!
