My husband was admitted to the hospital this afternoon with a collapsed left lung.....He didn't injure himself, nothing simply woke this morning and felt he was sick. Went to the doctor and x-ray showed his left lung collapsed. They inserted a tube and said it would remain for 48 hours. He is in horrible pain. I did not want to leave him, but our granddaughter has been visiting from Seattle the last 3 weeks, she flies out at 6am in the morning. As she is a unaccompanied minor, I am listed as the only one who can escort her to the gate. I'm off to shower and must get up at 4am to make the airport in time, then back to the hospital. Today was dh 54th birthday... he had a heart attack on his 40th. He said from now on, no more birthdays, we will simply celebrate our anniversary instead ( the 18th). Please pray for him.
