    Default Sisters Quilt Show

I attended the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show this weekend, (Sisters, OR) and it was fabulous. They had over 1800 quilts displayed inside and outside of buildings in a three square block area. There were a few vendors, so naturally I had to pick up a few bargains. But mostly, it was just a day to enjoy the beauty others have created, get new ideas, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Since this wasn't a juried show, I saw many more quilts that gave me ideas of things to try, not the "I'll never be able to do that!" feeling I had in Paducah. The day was perfect until about 3p.m. When a wicked thunderstorm chased us all inside, and the quilt rescue crew got their ladders out and took them all down. But it was a great day! I'll post pictures when I get home to my computer, no posting pics from an iPad!

So glad you had a wonderful time. Although I knew you would. Being able to do it with your sister had to make it just that much more enjoyable. We have certainly missed you, that's for sure. Can't wait to see the pics. Have a great time with your sis, and safe flight home. Hugs to you.

I don't know which I would enjoy the most - visiting Sisters or visiting my Sister.

Can hardly wait to see some pictures.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

It sounds like the perfect way to spend the day. Let us know if you post the pics into an album so we can all stroll through the quilt show, too.

I would have loved to have gone. It is amazing to see the work of great quilters.
