I attended the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show this weekend, (Sisters, OR) and it was fabulous. They had over 1800 quilts displayed inside and outside of buildings in a three square block area. There were a few vendors, so naturally I had to pick up a few bargains. But mostly, it was just a day to enjoy the beauty others have created, get new ideas, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Since this wasn't a juried show, I saw many more quilts that gave me ideas of things to try, not the "I'll never be able to do that!" feeling I had in Paducah. The day was perfect until about 3p.m. When a wicked thunderstorm chased us all inside, and the quilt rescue crew got their ladders out and took them all down. But it was a great day! I'll post pictures when I get home to my computer, no posting pics from an iPad!
