Jean Sewing Machine

My sis and I

We make a fun pair! We started her cushion upholstery project last night by flying around To three stores to get what we needed to finish the job. We're taking the stuff with us to her house on the coast to fit the fabric and foam. This morning, we cut the fabric, and I sewed in an 86" zipper and made 13 yards of cording out of suede cloth! Talk about my least favorite fabric to work on! We'll work on more after the quilt show tomorrow. Leaving for Sisters in a few minutes.

P.S. she really liked the jelly roll quilt, and I got to sleep under it last night! The best of two worlds!

Jean, it is a good thing that you are a seamstress and not just a quilter. Your talents with a sewing machine continue to amaze me. Your screen name fits you to a tee. You just need to add FAST in there somewhere.

Flew with it yesterday, it is small enough to go in regular luggage, came through with flying colors.

Sandy,
That was one of my dad's favorite or most-used expressions, just spelled a little different. He didn't like someone to do something halfway, ahem. It makes me smile to remember some of those sayings from years ago.
I try not to do anything "half ast" ahem.
