Re: Color Chart
LOL...how true. We were playing pool one night and I don't know what the numbers are on the different colors.....my DH told me to shoot at the red ball well I shot at the wrong red ball - it was the "burgandy" one and I told him that....well the guys immediately.....started to say stuff like shoot at the grape ball or the lemon ball. *idiots*

Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.
A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Re: Color Chart
I know this is nothing to do with quilting but it did give me quite a laugh today. We are renovating our bathroom and it came time to choose the colour for the walls. I want a very light aqua sort of colour but hubbie was set on blue or green. The ensuing conversation reminded me of this colour chart. We've ended up with a light "bluey-green"! I know you will all understand the colour I mean!!!!!

Re: Color Chart
I met Pat for dinner the other day and his outfit clashed big time. His response: But honey, it's all blue, how can it clash?

Let me guess - if you are female you would call it aqua? LOL Now you are both happy - you got the color you wanted, but just can't call it aqua unless you are talking to other females outside of his hearing.
Love this thread

Re: Color Chart
So true! I think they see the colors are different, the just don' know the names. I used the word teal in a conversation with a man once, and had to find something in the room of that color to give him a visual. My brother is, however, completely color blind. I think he sees everything in sepia tones. I can't even imagine.
