Disappointed in our forum :(

I am so disappointed in the members of our forum. I just checked how the voting was going for Jeans quilt, and was stunned that she is currently in 5th place, and ONLY has 80 votes. She is a rey of sunshine on this forum, offering advice and humor, along with a huge dose of generosity. It only take a minute. Please, show her your support and vote for her quilt. But Marilyn, they won't let me vote any more . . . I tried, Honest Injun!!

I voted yesterday, I think it was around 40 then. I even got a new IP address to see if I could vote again, but for some weird reason it wouldn't let me vote twice even from a new IP...

We'll know in the future how this all works, thanks, Marilyn for the vote of confidence! You are a sweetie! I'm not disappointed, if 80 people took the time to mess with this ( since it wasn't tht easy to do), I'm impressed and happy! It was a lerning eperience for us all.

I voted, the count is now 82, YEA!

Marilyn, I don't think the forum needs to be chided. I, too, think 80 votes is awesome. There is some stiff competition out there, and perhaps they have a wider network of friends and family. I voted twice for Jean, and had to do a bit of finagling to do so.

That is so weird. I voted yesterday and it showed the count way higher than 80 votes.

I voted for you Jean and would vote for you everyday if they'd let me.

Not chiding the forum, just thought the count would be higher. Considering how many members this forum has, JS

I managed to vote 3 times for Jean yesterday. Work, home and from my phone.

Granted, the voting set up on that blog is pretty hard to navigate, but I would have thought more people would have voted too.

I didn't know anything about it. Sorry. I voted tonight!!

I mailed everyone in my addy book with the link and voted on my PC and Blackberry. I'll mail again with a 'hurryup' and made sure Hubby voted on his Laptop and phone. Texted my son but he mightn't be able to get to an internet shop until tomorrow.

I tried to vote yesterday and I couldnt figure it out either, but today was much easier and I voted yay!!!!

Gee, Libby, so sorry to hear you are fighting shingles, what a terrible experience that must be!

Jean, it's by far the worst thing I've ever experienced.....EVER. Anyone who is over 50 and has not had the shot for this should go today and get one. It's not recommended until you're 65+ but this is on the increase and it's BAD. You don't want this!

You may have just convinced me to get it.

It does seem like it is on the increase doesn't it. Three out of of six co workers got it last year at my preschool. Thankfully I was not one of them.

It was over Monday morning at 8 a.m. Had a very small window of opportunity to vote, but they sponsor a contest every week, with a different theme. This week it is memory quilts. I have plans for memory quilts, but nothing produced yet.
