THANK YOU FOR PRAYING
I just heard from my MIL Jean, whose house was hit by a tornado/straight-line wind yesterday while she was gone. Seven family members and friends showed up with chainsaws and cut up the trees and limbs and moved them to the road where the city has already picked them up. A neighbor opened up his home and she spent the night there. She has no electricity but it should be restored by this evening. They have to put in a new meter and then be hooked up by the utility company. There is no phone service, but she has a cell phone.
Thank you so much for praying for my MIL...it's very hard being two states away when a disaster like this happens to family. You are a terrific group of supportive friends....Hugs, Barb
