    Default Quilt shop...

I found a new quilt shop today. It's not very far from me....maybe 10 minutes. It's not a huge shop but has high quality fabrics, patterns, notions etc. I think the people that own it are Mennonite and the lady that was helping me choose fabric was really nice. They have classes too...on Tuesdays so if I want to take one I'll have to use a vacation day. I will get some photos next time I'm over there and share them.

Good find! I was just thinking this morning, I learned from watching TV and videos, but it sure would be nice to have had someone teach me. I know there is a lot I could still learn. Have fun, if you decide to take a class!

Sounds great! There's nothing like having a shop close to home. We have a small family-operated fabric store here in Licking and they carry some very nice fabric and have lots to choose from. They also have good sales from time to time. Right now they have batiks for $2.99...not the quality of Bali but nice just the same.

Lovely Autumny colours - OK maybe not a real word, love your fabric, great that you have found a store so handy, I have learnt a lot going to classes, looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks.
Remember, people will see your quilts long after you are gone. . . Not your housework!!
