After leaving Burbank at 4 am to get to LAX to leave at 6:50 for Atlanta we arrived there at 4 pm EST with two sets of Grandparents waiting for us. It took about 45 minutes to get off the plane, potty runs, tram ride, luggage pick up before they saw Penny and Oliver! They were so, so happy to meet Penny!! Lots of smiles, hugs and kissing going around the group. Zander is still in Calif with his Dad for another two weeks then Alex will fly out with him to drop him off.
Don and I love outside area of Atlanta, the tall green trees, woodland! Reminds us of the Foothills of La Verne lived. Matt's folks live in Suwanee in an older subdivision on an acre backing onto a 84 acre park. Lots of deer, raccoons, etc.
When we pulled up a two year old twin set, buck "Radar" and doe "Babe" were in the yard, just at the edge of the lawn about 40 feet away from the end of the driveway. I love, love animals, I just knew that my camera and I were having coffee outside on Monday morning.
Below are some shots of Mama who has been fed by Mike and Jan for over five years and her babies that were born two years ago. Plus shots of Freddy the tree frog that lives in a bird house off the sunroom patio. He's been there for 3 years and Freddy is so used to "good" people that I even petted him.
If we are able to move to GA, it will need to be out in the 'burbs or even further out in the country...Don and I need our animals. hehe Soooo miss them.
