Default UPDATE ON MY UPDATE ON THE QUILT OF VALOR

A few have inquired about making a quilt for the soldiers in Afghanistan, in my son's friends group. In case anyone else is interested here's what I did:

I used six patriotic fabrics....but really, ANYTHING would be wonderful! I made the D9P and it measured approx. 50X50, generous lap quilt. If you want to make bigger, smaller....anything really is fine.

If you do decide to make one, send me a PM when you're ready and I'll give you mailing details. Thank you!

Mahalo/Thank You Libby for the information. When I get back home this is 3rd on my list to complete, I want to have it in the soldier's lap by Veteran's Day. What's the shipping time to get it to one of his buddy's?

Will have to do the fabric shopping here in Atlanta while visiting, not much to choose from on the Island. Gee, what a tough shopping trip! not!
