I lived in North GA for a little over 20 years, my son lives in Lawrenceville GA now (below Atlanta) and I love GA. One day I hope to move back. I would think that the VA wouldn't be a problem (well no more problem that VA is). Enjoy your trip.

Thanks Kathy, you know the background on Don's story. We want to make sure we are set before we even consider the move to Georgia, we don't want a repeat of CA. :P

Thank you all for the well wishes. We're excited to see Atlanta and the outskirts since we've never been there. Planning a shopping trip to Whipstitch for modern fabric cuts, I buy from them on Etsy and follow their blog. It's my reward for the last 7 weeks of babysitting/caretaking/packing. hehe
