I use nothing but Gingher scissors for cutting fabric and have them in every size. I also have a Gingher rotary cutter that is fabulous, but Gingher blades are expensive, and use Gingher appliqué (duck bill) scissors for trimming around appliqués. I bought most of them with 50% coupons at Joann's. Hubby collects scissors so he's always looking for a good buy on Ginghers. Mine are used a lot, but have not needed sharpening.
