Let's Thank Our Host, MSQC!

You are all such a BIG part of my day - I couldn't imagine not 'seeing' you all (too) many times a day as I check in and 'chat'! You are my quilting family, especially since no one else understands!!! I was thinking about this last night and we need to remember to thank our wonderful hosts as they are the reason we are on this forum! The best way to show our appreciation is to support their shop and keep that in mind when choosing where to get your supplies. There is room for everyone of course, local quilt shop, big-box stores, etc. but when possible, it's always nice to order from MSQC (just picture Jenny there at the counter!). I wish I was close enough to visit in person but an on-line order as budget permits is always fun and a great nod to our host! :) Thank you Jenny & family for a great forum and the wonderful work you do at MSQC - (we appreciate all the how-to videos too!)

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU too, to MSQC. I may not get in here or comment as much as I'd like but what a great quilting family we are. I have about as much chance as a snowflake in hell of ever seeing the shop or the staff in reality, but what a delight it is to share in the wonderful atmosphere and be part of this huge community. Thank you Jenny, family and other staff members for all the hard work you do to keep us up and running.

So true! I have so many bargains, but can usually find more I CAN'T DO WITHOUT! Love this place, both brick and mortar store and online!

I am going down to the States today to pick up my order from MSQC! Yep-big order that I had shipped to a shipping and receiving store. This means that is was a big enough order to justify driving a couple hours. I am soooooooo excited. Of course, I ordered all this fabric after I promised myself I would stop buying fabric for a while. Yep, that daily deal got me . . . and if I am going to buy that, well, I should look at the other things. How about matching fabric for the deal? It sort of snowballed from there. :) And yes, MSQC ships to Canada but I didn't want to wait for customs, etc-faster to drive through and pay the duties. I do have a fabric addiction!

Even though I put the sale links on here I still order from MSQC too...in fact, I got a package from them yesterday. Quilting can be expensive and some people are on a tighter budget than others and have to take advantage of sales when they find them. MSQC usually has the best prices on precuts, so when I need precuts I get them from MSQC, I don't think I've ever purchased precuts (other than fat quarters) anywhere else. I do buy my thread from Connecting Threads because I like their cotton thread. As for fabric - sometimes I order yardage but I generally go to a store and get that because I can look at it.

Angie you are correct. MSQC does a great job and if it wasn't for them all of us would have never met. My goal in life before I get to old is to go and visit MSQC and Jennie and the girls.

You are so right. This is a great place and we do need to support them.

I always look to M* first before going to any other site. I love the customer service, prices and the little note that comes with every order. Jenny is the one who taught me I could do this! I love this place! Unless it's a screaming deal....all my precuts come from here. For thread I'm with Shirley. Lots of my notions come from here too.

I absolutely agree too...

Most of the patchwork and quilting that I can do, I learnt from Jenny, and I'm very grateful for that.
I've learnt not only from her great tutorials but also from her wonderful Craftsy-classes.
And even though I live in Germany and have to pay the 20$ for shipping and the 19% sales-tax, I'm ordering a lot from the MSQC, it is still cheaper than buying it over here. We do not have our "local quiltshops" here, so I normally have to buy online.

I am sooo glad that I have found this community, even if I am not the most busy writer, I sure am a very busy reader.
