    Default Almost there!

Well, it's almost time for my third payment on the long arm and at least I can say I turned it on and it seems to work. Still struggling with loading fabric on the frame, spent one hour crawling on the floor installing two clips to keep the one take up reel from falling off. Now I'm tired. So tomorrow is another day, more work ahead, but the end is in sight! Thanks for your help and encouragement!

It won't be long and you'll be quilting along on this great long arm! Then all the work will be worth it. As far as crawling on the floor...I'd have to have help getting up.

Yep, that getting up part is usually pretty ugly, and I didn't have a lot of space to do my sprawling. But it got done. I'm going to get some extra wide sheeting for backing so I can practice without having to mess with seams, think I can find some inexpnsive stuff as soon as the stores open. Need some of those flat flower pins also, my t-pins are too fat and don't go through the fabric very easily.
