Default New Fabric to boost the spirits!

    Hi folks!

Long time no see. I am trying to get back on my feet. In effort to do this i went fabric shopping... Now i donīt know what i shall make of it. Any ideeas on what to do? I only have a half idee for the pie fabric. I was thinking some table mate for the plates.. I realy need to get back to sewing for my sanity. I am finaly finished with his flat. and now it is a matter of getting the rest of the boxes to my cellar or to get rid of the stuff we arenīt keeping.

Any way Here are some picīs of my fabrics.. Love Annika

Hi Annika...Good to see you online. I LOVE the fabrics you bought today, especially the clocks, the black and blue and the pies. I also love the big leaves!!! I would have to make something from the clock fabric first....I'll have to think on this one. Just out of curiosity, is fabric expensive in Sweden like it is in other countries outside the USA? In Australia it's very expensive, also in Canada.

It's good to hear you are done with the flat. Now maybe you can get a new focus. Take care of yourself and the girls...Hugs & Hugs, Barb

    Hi Barb
Yea the fabric cost some. but i am buying not yardiges but cut pices. I bought this by its weihgt. It is 250 SEK /kilo. This way you can make a bargain. If you bought it on the bolt by the meter it can cost from the lowest 39 sek/meter up to 200 sek/meter. so it depends on the fabric and how you choose to bye it.

I love your fabric haul! I recognize the blue graphic from the Patternista collection, I made a quilt using that line. I loie the black with the bright dots. All the fabrics are lovely, and hope you are inspired to create again after your last few months' ordeal.

    Hi Jean
I saw your patternista quilt and think it is stunning!! I am thinking on doing a quilt with Jennys Jelly Roll Star tutorial but i am having some troubble on choosing fabrics for it . Meanwhile i am trying to start some smaller project to get the creative jusice to floow again. THis fabric just belonged to me but i dont really know what they should be yet.

What a gorgeous selection you have made. Love the pie print!! We have missed you, Annika, and we're all so pleased to see you back. Oh, and I love the red and gold music. I'll bet you are going to make something for your daughters so they forever have Poa in their hearts.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Love your choices, but especially the music print, the seashell print, and those hydrangeas are gorgeous. Interesting selections....can't wait to see what you do with them all!
