Ladies,
I saw a tutorial that Jenny did on how to make a baby quilt/receiving blanket with two pieces of fabric.

For the life of me and about a half hour of searching on the tutorials link and youtube and I can not find it.

You take two pieces of fabric, one larger than the other, sew the edges together leaving an opening, turn and when you do the larger fabric forms a border for the smaller fabric. OK where did I see this video? I need some of the dimensions and the technique she used to make the mitered corners...

Susan it is called the self binding baby quilt and i found it on you tube.

go to you tube and type in missouri star quilt co and it will bring up all the tuts on and it is about 5-7 down

Susan, I am just putting the finishing touches on 2 of them and they are so cool, and alot of fun to make! Have fun with it! I didn't put a link because Dee put one up there ^^^^^

I found it and I am going fabric shoping tomorrow with the girls. Think I will get a couple of yards and play with it. It has given me a bunch of ideas on what to put in the center as well as just the plain flannel.. stay tuned
