My friend came up with this idea and it works! It's WONDERFUL! Purchase from your local hardware store some 5/8ths inch tubing (fairly flexible)... cut a slit down the length... open it up and place it onto your cutting mat... slice off widths that will fit into your bobbin and place it on... I LOVE MINE! AND SO CHEAP!!!

I have a rubber Bobbinsaver into which you put your bobbins. It holds them all in a circle. I don't know how many it holds, maybe 20? In any case it is more than I have. Here is a link: http://www.amazon.com/Bobbinsaver-Bo...bobbin+holders I do think the tubeing idea is a great one, too.
Fantastic Idea!!! Thank you, I am always trying to clean mine up. I have them in a case but they still unravel to some degree. This will work wonders. Now I just have to remember to remove it when I put it in my machine! lol Hugs, Jan L.
You can also use the smallest ponytail holders!
My DH made a bunch of these for me to give out at the quilt camp I attended last fall. They were very well received.

I was quilting the other day, and carried my quilt from one room to another to trim it. A bobbin thread from the drawer in the sewing table had gotten caught in my quilting and I had yards of thread following me in to the other room. So those bobbin clips would be a great idea. I have some pink ones that I bought, but I like the idea of clear so you can see what color is on the bobbin.
