    Red face Looking for suggestions

    Hi All,
I am a new quilter. I have made 6 so far... I need help in choosing a pattern for a quilt for my neice. She will be attending College this fall in Hawaii. My sister has sent me 6 different fabrics to use in the quilt with the school colors...Any suggestions on a pattern? Finished size needs to be 50x90? Long single bed for the dorm. Thanks for your help.

Jacob's Ladder, Disappearing nine patch .... that is my suggestions. I think with those two patterns you won't lose the floral patterns. There are tutorials on here for both and they are beginner friendly and they will look good in black and white. IMHO kellie

My thoughts are disappearing nine patch or rail fence. I don't think there is a tutorial for the rail fence though.

    Here is the tutorial!
I think that would be a very nice pattern for your fabric, goes fast and it looks great!!!

    Another Weekend Quilt Top Finished

follow this link - it shows a pattern using large squares....

OK that didn't work the way I thought - but if you go to Forum and click on "Show and Tell" then scroll down till you find the above mentioned title you will see what I am talking about!
