    Default Darn it!!

Why didn't I take an extra five minutes this morning before church to order the Daily Deal? Now it's sold out. I had visions of my own Amish Star quilt like Jenny's tutorial I watched last night. Could this be someone 'up there' telling me that I have lots of fat quarters of jewel tones that I could cut into 2 1/2 inch strips myself??? Do ya think?????
I pray when risen from the dead before the Lord I stand; perhaps a crown upon my head, but with a needle in my hand.

Never let reason take over your mind when considering quilt fabric!

I was up at 10 am this morning and took a look at it....thought about it and then thought "you have enough stuff to do right now and you're going to a quilt shop next week-end" so I passed it up.

Do you have animals? If so, take my advice nd DO NOT MAKE IT WITH A BLACK BACKGROUND. I gav e mine away after one week on the bed and 5 sessions a day with the lint roller to get the blonde cat fur off of it. I'm going to remake that quilt with yellow to match my cat. I love that jelly roll and bought it at 3 a.m. Been waiting for it and the pastel one to come on sale for weeks. They were out of the pastel for a while.

    Red face Re: Darn it!!

I also thought about ordering at 1 in the morning, then thought no....and yes "I re-thinked" it and it is gone...I also have a lot I can cut myself...and I'm planning on going to a quilt shop this Friday with a friend (haven't been to this one for several years), so who knows what damage I will do, but it's so exciting...it's really a sickness, right? hahaha

I wonder if I can claim disability for this?

Jean, the cat hair is on the blanket no matter what color it is. I use black a lot because I love it. I'd rather see the hair so I can remove it than allow it to stay. I am just glad we are not allergic to cats, because they shed a lot.
