    Red face WHEW!

I just finished 1 block that I started making at 10:30 this morning. It took 7 hours to make! and the fabric was already cut! There were "point" issues. With this particular block design everything had to be perfect (no really) I eventually had to cut new fabric because the original was too frayed from all the ripping out. I just couldn't give up and call it good enough. Whenever I'm making something I remind myself that I'm glad that when God made me, He didn't say "That's good enough!"

I know exactly what you mean.....I will rip and rip until things line up and points match. Then sometimes have to re-do the entire thing because of the fraying.

I would love to see a picture of the finished block, or the name of the block that gave you so much trouble. I have big time trouble with scant 1/4 inches and points.

Here it is Joyce. It had to do with the angles.

I love that block and your colors are wonderful together. Looks too complicated for me - would probably take me 7 days instead of 7 hours.

I like that block. It looks like one that when placed in a group of the same blocks will give the illusion of curved lines.

Wow, that is stunning. I love the colors, and pattern. Don't think I will be trying that any time soon, lol. I am so glad I am not a perfectionist. I would never get anything done. I figure I am not entering a contest or anything, and I am just making them for comfort. That may change though when I start on my DGD's Christmas quilt.

Wow, I feel a migraine coming on! :/

Brook, no wonder it took you several tries. Those are some angles! Looks good though, I think I'll stick with perfecting my flying geese for a while. lol

Are you ready to move on to making another matching block?
