    Default Country Fabrics....

I visited this shop a while back and it is wonderful. I'm not sure if this shop is owned and operated by Amish or Mennonite...but the girl that was helping me with my fabric selection was Amish.

I am going again next week-end and am going to talk to them about their classes and maybe sign up for one (there are at least 3 that I want to do). It's about an hour's drive for me. Just thought I share the link, if you're close enough and would like to visit.

The 3 classes I'm considering are:

    Mariner's Fall Beauty
Maple Leaf Log Cabin (this is a gorgeous quilt - they had it hanging in the shop)
    Finishing Class

Here's something a little extra that anyone could participate in:

Okay, that looks like a place I could arrive in the morning and leave after the sun goes down! It is about 3 hours from me though and I don't get to that part of Ohio very often. What a wonderful, fully stocked shop!

It is wonderful - just bolts and bolts of fabric, pre-cuts, patterns, notions, books. My hubby went upstairs and he told me they have Amish stuff up there....straw hats and such.

    ROAD TRIP???!!!!
I pray when risen from the dead before the Lord I stand; perhaps a crown upon my head, but with a needle in my hand.

I have to go with a list or I would be dazed and confused in there. After I get what's on my list then I start looking around for other stuff to spend my money on. They have a cart near the front with "sale" fabrics....I think I'm going to check that first to see if I find anything I want in it.

I forgot to take my camera last time I went. I'll try to remember it this time and get some pics.
