What a wonderful day
I have been on a long car trip with my husband and when I found out we were going through Missouri I told him we had to go to M*QC. Great guy that he is we made that little detour today. I walked into the old shop by accident and walked right up to Jenny and gave her a hug. She is a good hugger.;0) She told me where the new shop is and I had a fun hour and a half there, spending lots of money, beautiful shop, fantastic people, hope one day to go back again.
Here is a picture of us together.

Re: What a wonderful day
Fantastic. Must have been a wonderful thrill to meet Jenny and see the new store. I am hoping to talk DH into a road trip this summer.
It would be a two day trip for us. We are at the bottom of Missouri and it is 260 miles and about a 5 hour trip, so we would have to get a room, plus take the dogs with us. So we will see.

How about when one of us wins the lottery we buy a bus, hire a driver, for the soul purpose of taking us to MSQC when needed. LOL

Re: What a wonderful day
It was a good day today, too.:0) We stopped in Paducah Ky on our way today and I went to Eleanor Burns shop there, too. Eleanor was not in her shop to hug me, but I did get a picture with her cardboard substitute. I will post that photo soon.
Tomorrow we will be home after more than 5000 miles on the car and three weeks on the road. It has been a wonderful trip but I am ready to sleep in my own bed and use my own washer. :0}

Claire....I'm so glad you got to meet Jenny and see the new shop! I hope to be able to go there some day...I think in the Fall when it cools off so Miss Molly can go with us and nap in the truck while I shop. I love the quilt behind your picture with Jenny. Hugs, Barb
