    Default Local Tragedy-Prayers Please!

Please pray for the family of Sarah Roberts Hart, a 31-year old mother of three young children who was murdered early this morning in our county. She was running with her sister when she said she didn't feel well and was returning to their cars. When her sister completed the run, Sarah wasn't at her car. About 5 hours later, her body was found. A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder. This a terrible tragedy that has shocked our community.

Oh, Myrna, I am shaking in my shoes. What a horrible, horrible thing. I will keep her family in my prayers. It is a terrible shocker.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

Myrna, How totally horrific! Of course I will pray for the family and for your community. I know how hard things like this are felt in a small community.

How horrible my prayers are with her family and the community. She is my daughter's age and that just makes me ill thinking about it. I'm glad they found the person that did this, so many times they don't.

Myrna, special prayers for this family. And for the community. Not only tragic but a terrifying reminder that we never know who is around us. Keep us updated?

The man who has been charged with Sarah's murder better hope he stays in jail and that no one is allowed near him. There are folks in this area who still believe in country justice. Reading that made me feel sick to my stomach. It's horrible to hear about a young life being taken so soon, especially when it's completely unnecessary. It devastates not only the family but the entire community. A young man near my home town was a victim of a drunk driver a few years ago, and as if the death isn't hard enough to cope with, then you have the court procedures which can last (in this poor boy's case) for years.

I remember reading a quote that his mom had posted shortly after, and I thought it was so true: A wife who loses a husband is called a widow. A husband who loses a wife is called a widower. A child who loses his parents is called an orphan. But...there is no word for a parent who loses a child, that's how awful the loss is! - Neugeboren 1976

I will keep her family and the whole community in my thoughts and prayers and hope that justice is served quickly so everyone can grieve and mourn properly.
