That's how many get turned away from sewing for others that make requests because of wanting to make the person happy you take less then don't get paid for all of the supplies it took to make the item or time you put into making the item. For future I'd let the person know ahead of time a estimate of what to expect to pay for the finished product then they won't frown when it's time to pay you. It will also save you time in the long run because if they don't want to pay what you ask then you don't have to spend your time making it.
