Karen...The shelves are adjustable but you only get three shelves for each side of the cabinet...one side is wider than the other. You would have the option to buy the board material and cut more if you wanted. They carry that also at Lowe's. I found I had enough shelves. The maximum number of drawers you can use in each cabinet is three and I think that's intended to be a safety feature. Barb

Barb, I love your cabinets! I love the drawer feature lots. You look very organized and ready to spend a lot of time in your sewing area. Enjoy it! I am now starting some plans for my new sewing area now that our daughter has officially moved out. I get her bedroom but need to decide if it is also going to be a guest room. Lots of things to think about!

Barb, your sewing studio looks lovely and cheery. It's great that they have drawers for the cabinet, wonderful feature! Besides getting organized, the fun part is the personalizing and decorating to make it your own space. Your quilts, dolls, accents will make it your own. Great job!

Martha, forget the guests that come once a year...get the number of the local Motel 6 for them or a deluxe queen airmattress! You deserve a sewing room 365 days of the year to enjoy! Another idea is a foldout sofa in the family room/den, really don't put your main lifestyle on hold for the few time a year that guests might show up.

Thumbs up Re: NEW SEWING SPACE

Barb, this room is everything anyone would want in a sewing room...so bright, organized, and full of fabric...I agree with Cyndi....I would want to stay in that room...it is truly amazing...enjoy (I know you will)
    have a great day, Carol

You guys have outdone yourselves... i organized my space,, but just am not good at keeping it that way... i go from project to project.. grabbing,, letting the things pile up and up.. i do get a lot done,,, but it's to "shovel style capacity"... and now,, i've got back and hip problems... so i can't really work at it at all.... serves me right... if i ever get back to some normal pain place... i'm gonna do it for sure.... Now what plans do you have for your new machine??????
