Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
Good idea! Thanks for sharing!
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
Great idea....I am going to do this. I was looking at a foot pedal mat that I could purchase because my foot pedal moves around all the time.....this is much cheaper. Thanks!
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
Did you have to glue it to your foot pedal? or just placing it under works well enough? I need this! I am always chasing that thing!
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
I have hook velcro on one of my foot pedals, it sticks to the carpet, most of the time!

Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
I already had the non-slip liner under my foot pedal and it wasn't strong enough for me! I did end up buying a foot pedal mat (it's much thicker and stickier) for about $5. and it works great. No slipping at all now. Don't have that problem with the machine since it's set in the table.
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
What a great idea. I am always chasing my foot pedal on the 'tile' floors. Not so much on the carpet.
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
I do not glue the liner to anything. My foot pedal will work itself off of the shelf liner, but I think I had cut the liner too smal. I have wood floors so the pedal really moves around without. My sewing machine creeps, too, but is VERY stable with the liner.
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
Great tip! I am always searching for my foot peddle, and have thought about doing this..when I get my machine back from repairs, I have a roll of shelf liner sitting and waiting...Thanks!
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
Great tip, Madampolo. Thanks for sharing. My foot pedal is always going walkies too and several things I've tried haven't done the trick so far. I think your tip will.
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
Great tip. My foot pedal is on carpet so it usually stays put, but my machine does tend to creep back....I'm doin this! Thank you!
Re: Slipping Sewing Machine
I never use a foot pedal anymore. Both my machines have start buttons that I am addicted to lol. Have never even unpacked the foot pedal. Thankfully neither machine wanders either but I have had that with previous machines and I used to use a mouse mat under it
