I wait for Fat Quarters go on sale and stock up...I've also found 100% cotton old clothes from my closet, new cotton shower curtain at discount store, nice plaid shirts from the thrift store, fabric at yard sales if it smells ok sometimes it's been in the basement and smells musty or they are smokers...yuck, Flea Markets, but mostly new wait for it to be on sale and sign up for coupons! If it's toward the end of the bolt sometimes they will offer it to you at a discount just to get rid of it. Again 100% cotton, quilting weight, nothing you can see through, clean, and smells good.
