Thumbs down Janome-Stop for Saftey Purposes...

Tonight I was happily sewing along, sitd on my latest quilt project when my machine stops and I get the error message displayed "Stop for Safety Purposes". Get out the ole handy dandy user manual..says it could be a bent needle..ok, I change that and while I am doing that, clean out the bobbin area of lint, rethread the machine and after a few practice lines, the machine seems good to go. Start quilting again, and again the error message. So, off to the repair shop tomorrow. The machine is maybe 15 years old, I am worried that there is a computer problem that will lead to a most expensive repair. Feeling a bit sad about this all, I will probably be on the sewers sideline for a few weeks while it is repaired.

I've had that error message a few times, but it was never a repeating problem. It happened when I bent a needle because I hit a pin,or an extra thick seam. Also if there was a thread jam. I always fixed the problem and it went on sewing. Hopefully yours can be easiy and INEXPENSIVELY fixed!
