Somebody stole our idea!

Inspired by our model, Mr. Daisy, who gleefully modeled the quilt the forum members made for him, an idea was spawned to make a "Men of MSQC" calendar. Seems that another group stole our idea! Check this out! http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org/events.htm

Cute name , "Men behind the Quilts". Literally!

By the way, when I got my chance to chat with Jenny the other week, I mentioned that this was a topic on the forum, her eyes got real big, and I interpreted that as a message, " You better check with me before you do that"!

You evidently don't realize that Megan Smith Dougherty [harperland@mac.com] of GenQ Magazine has already published a calendar and had the headstart on everyone . . . - the forum members of M*QC AND http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org/events.htm

Looks as if it wasn't OUR idea . . . just saying.

Maybe not ours completely, but how much fun!

If we decide to do a modest calendar for Men of MSQC, I've got a pretty cute hunk of a Hubby who would LOVE to have his own month! Of course Mr Daisy and Sandy, how about Al???? :)

I've got a pretty cute "seasoned" hubby who would look pretty good modeling the right quilt!

I got that video today that you recommended " I've got a longarm and not afraid to use it". I'm partway through it and have learned a lot already.

Met another gentleman quilter at the LQS today, he was quite an artist. Says he is one of two men in the local quilt guild, 72 women and two guys! Guess you might know the feeling of being outnumbered!
