I didn't know this at the time, but when I was visiting with Jenny a week ago Monday, three ladies came in to talk to her. They were the Fons and Porter peeps! They might have taken that picture after I left. And I am wondering where my brain was, because the Fons and Porter retail store is in Winterset, IA, WHERE MY SON LIVES! And I didn't even know it was there. Of course, I shopped there when I was visiting. Two fabulous quilt shops in one weekend, how lucky was I? Very lucky!

I am hoping that they will announce a Grand Opening (or re-Opening) Party or Sale or special pre-Opening preview for those of us who can drop in and visit now and then . . .

    HINT, HINT, HINT!!

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I had an e-mail from Jenny at M*QC this morning (anyone else on her list?) and the message was that they are open in the new store and planning a Grand Opening to be announced later. Lots of new fabric (after all they did take time out and head to Market).

I did notice at the bottom of their e-mail they need to change their mailing address (or perhaps they are going to retain the other building for storage and shipping)????????

Love the Doans - each and every one . . . wonder if they are related to Doan's Little Liver Pills????????????
